POSITION SUMMARY:  

  • Experienced Infection Preventionist to provide high level assessment leading to the development of a comprehensive action plan / recommendations focused on achieving clinical excellence in the area of Infection Prevention and Control.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, Epidemiology or related field (or the equivalent)

  • Certification in Infection Control 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:    

  • 5 years of experience in healthcare, with progressive experience in the field of infection prevention

  • Consulting experience preferred

  • Long Term Care experience preferred
