INTERIM PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER 

FOR THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Interim Healthcare Leadership role in the Emergency Department. Our client in California seeks an Interim Psychiatric NP for the ED. The Interim Psychiatric NP will be involved in acute psychiatric evaluation, management and disposition of psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department. This interim role requires flexibility to orient and work at several locations, including consulting by phone or telecommunication.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • California RN license

  • California NP license

  • Current American Heart Assn CPR certification

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

  • At least 1 year of related experience as a Nurse Practitioner

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems preferred

  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient setting preferred
