Interim Critical Care Clinical Educator Role

Location - Northern California

 

Job Description:

 

  • The Critical Care Educator and an integral member of the Critical Care team, is a master's prepared, clinical expert responsible for the professional development of clinical staff and patient outcomes of the critical care and telemetry patients.  

  • The Critical Care Educator provides leadership, education, interdisciplinary collaboration, program development, and consultation to promote clinical excellence and quality outcome measures.   

  • Seeking an engaging, innovative advanced practice educator to join a progressive nursing leadership team. 

  • Reports to the Director of Critical Care with a highly collaborative relationship with the team managers, and clinical coordinators.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Current California nursing license required 

  • Educator experience required.

  • CardioVascular experience highly preferred.

  • BSN and Master's required

  • BLS, ACLS required

  • 5+ years of acute care experience, at least 2 years in critical care, experience as clinical educator required 

  • CCRN preferred.
