POSITION DETAILS:

 

  • Responsible for the span of Emergency Services within a small, acute care facility located in rural South Texas.

  • Position reports directly to the CNO.

  • Opportunity to partner with a passionate and supportive team dedicated to elevating standards of practice and achieving improvements in clinical outcomes.

  • The successful candidate will be a seasoned nurse leader who has demonstrated leadership skills in decision making, process improvement, problem solving, coaching to performance expectations, investigations, staffing to acuity/volume metrics, achieving measurable improvements in patient experience, patient flow/throughput, staff engagement, and improving physician relations. 

  • This nurse leader partners with healthcare provider teams to ensure cohesive department communication and ensures clinical excellence while fostering a patient-centered care environment.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Emergency Services required

  • 3+ years’ experience in leadership role required, specifically in developing strong team relationships as a Transformational Leader Change Agent.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Nursing required

  • Master’s degree (MSN/MBA/MHA) preferred

 

License, Certification, & Training:

  • Active unrestricted license as RN in Texas (or compact) required

  • BCLS-Basic Cardiac Life Support, required

  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, required

  • PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support, required

  • TNCC-Trauma Nurse Certification, required

  • CEN-Certified Emergency Nursing, required

  • CCRN-Critical Care Nursing Certification, preferred

 

Additional Details:

  • Available to begin an interim role within 2 - 3 weeks

  • Duration of the assignment is a minimum of 90 days.
